| Hasn't the artistic aura been lost?

| BUM doesn't just want to exhibit works: our purpose is to encourage the creation of art. All works exhibited at BUM are created for BUM, they will exist in (and for) the BUM concept. It is, therefore, clear that;

| We do not intend to be small rivals of the great museums we talked about. We will not exhibit works already created, which were not designed specifically for our space. We are, perhaps, returning to the concept of work-to-order. But now, instead of a physical space (like a chapel, for example) we intend to fill a publication.

| BUM seeks to give viewers the opportunity to visit the exhibition whenever and wherever they want, letting them create their space, their corner. The exhibition will accompany you.

"The body that changes, that means something at first and then another, is something that bothers me and that i have sought to explore every time i do something."
"I live to give away. I do not like to keep anything for myself because i am afraid it will vanish or end up in the trash"
"When a piece of my works is exhibited it never leaves the same way it entered. A work of art is something that happens through time and it is not static."
Inês Prats
"It is about quality but, in order to get to the point art stands today, it was necessary for others to settle techniques and details during centuries, wearing themselves out."
Sérgio Azevedo
"Architecture, when it becomes a ruin, loses its inhabiting function. It eventually approaches much of what sculpture is, its substance as an area, as a body."
"i still don't know if i make art or if i continue to scrawl the way i used to do when i was 5 years old." / This art thing is a huge bait. I take the words out of the hat, full of rabbit hair by the way.My opinion, full of disregard, is that art cannot be made here or there."

"I have always said I would never work withtechnologies but at one point it started tomake sense to use video, because things arenot static and nothing I wanted to do wasstatic. Video has the peculiarity of being amoving canvas and of allowing to createcharacters."
"Speaking of the market, to be honest, I find itdifficult to exhibit. My work has nudes,pornography, and this isn't sold in artgalleries! Still, one has to believe in one'swork..."
"Nowadays I think that the best way ormedium to think about places is installationbecause it allows us to do several things,allows us to be contaminated by space."
"I don't want to think that being an artisttoday means being multitasked. Eachone must have his function; andentrepreneurship, marketing or sales, inmy view, are beyond the artist's scope."

"Fashion design is taking anotherdirection and moving along with society and its technological developments..."
